'Style by painting- Sangok Jun' Exhibition will be represented in Avenuel
by Gallery Yeh planning. The artist (Sangok Jun)'s advertising images
have attraction what we could already feel in real, but intervene, images
in the canvas what stimulate us is included. Through this intervention of
fascination, images give us a knowledge that exaggerated images destroy
our desire and make us to feel nothingness.

숲이 푸르른 여름으로 가는 길목에서 2007년 4월 예화랑에서는 최근 한국 화단에서 주목하는 작가 다섯 분으로 구성된 ‘So Talented _ 소탈렌티드 ’ 展 전시를 기획하였습니다. ‘So Talented _ 소탈렌티드 ’ 展 은 전시명이 암시하듯 이분들의 재능과 감출 수 없는 뚜렷한 기법들은 재치있고 발랄한 감성을 전해줍니다. 참여작가 5人은 회화, 조각, 설치 등 다양한 다양한 매체로 만나게 될 것입니다. 이분들은 동양과 서양, 전통과 진보, 실재와 재현, 예술적 재료와 일상적 소품, 모델링과 복제를 사이를 자유롭게 넘나드는 젊은 작가들입니다.
작가 저마다의 시각으로 어우른 작품들은 표현기법이나 양식적 측면에서 개개인의 독창성이 뛰어납니다. 다섯작가는 평면성과 입체성의 사이에서 때론 구상과 추상의 상반된 빛을 완연히 입히기도 하면서 그들의 매력을 한껏 발산하고 있습니다.
이번 전시에 기자분들께서 참석하시어 젊은 다섯분의 작가들의 위트있는 그들의 감성을 느끼며 한국 현대미술의 젊은 작가군의 양상을 깊이 감상하실 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되시길 바랍니다.
