In “In-Between Worlds” series, the artist manifests the stranger-ness based on her experience as a Korean-born artist that schooled in Germany. Having lived in both countries back and forth for over 20 years, the artist expresses the stranger-ness, which is a mixed emotion of having two cultures that coexist but simultaneously unable to belong to either of them in their entirety.
